Paper II

Public International Law

Nature and sources of international law, subjects, recognition, state responsibility, the law of the sea, treaties, the UN Charter, diplomatic law, human rights and the use of force.
Paper III

Interpretation of Statutes

Literal, golden and mischief rules, linguistic canons, mandatory and directory provisions, penal, fiscal and beneficial construction, internal and external aids, and retrospectivity.
Paper IV

Land Laws

Telangana and Andhra agrarian reforms, ceiling, tenancy and assignment, land acquisition under RFCTLARR 2013, forest rights and urban land.
Paper V

Intellectual Property Law

Copyright, patents, trade marks, designs, geographical indications and the TRIPS framework.
